We are a family-run business with over 100 years experience in manufacturing rigid boxes, specialist presentation packaging, jigsaw puzzles and board games.
We pride ourselves in producing high quality, competitively priced packaging solutions. We understand the importance of launch dates and lead times and will always aim to provide you with our most efficient and quality service.
All of our products are manufactured on our premises in Northamptonshire, UK.
The Seddon Family - Boxmakers since the late 1800’s
1889
Brothers, John and Thomas Seddon (originally from Lancashire), moved to Kettering and pioneered the cardboard box making industry in Northamptonshire.
1980
Brothers Richard and David Seddon – sons of Paul – join the business.
1916
Colin, Ted and Sidney Seddon (sons of both John and Thomas) continue the supply of boxes to the growing local shoe manufacturing trade.
2016
Monica Seddon, Richard’s daughter and David’s niece, starts her career in the family trade.
1947
After completing his degree at Cambridge University, Paul Seddon, son of Sidney Seddon, begins his career in boxmaking.
Today
Richard, David, and Monica remain with the business alongside an experienced, dedicated, and valued team of staff.
